Definition of Customer

The word "customer" is a term we often hear and very familiar in the business world in Indonesia. In general, the customer can be defined as people who buy the product / service continuously. According to Fandy Tjiptono (1997: 128) is a customer is "People who buy or use products and the people who interact with the company after the process of producing products / services".


Meanwhile, according to Ross (2001: 44) "The customer is any person or company that requires us to meet a certain quality standard, and because it will inevitably impact on our performance or the company".

Based on the opinions of the above it can be concluded that the customer is a person who uses the goods / services on an ongoing basis and to interact with companies that produce goods / services.
