Stages of Plant Layout

Stages of setting the first production facility is to determine the layout of production facilities in every department, then the next stage to determine the layout of the department with other departments involved in the operation process. While the layout planning process step either in relation to the existing factors of production (relayout), and the replacement of production facilities for new plant (layout) are as follows:

1. Analysis of product and process operations. First conducted research on
what products are produced., and how the process of operation.

2. Determination of the number of machines and the area required to implement
operations.

3. Determination of the desired type of layout is appropriate to your product
produced.

4. Determination of work flow and the flow of materials, both raw materials and ingredients in process that is waiting for the next operation.

5. Determination of the factory area and executive departments of the operation.

6. The plan details the selected layout.
